by Surrey Research Group, Contours Consultants and Sponsorships by
Greek National Tourism Organisation, University of Surrey and
University of the Aegean. Research addressed the issue of tourism
distribution channels as a strategic function of tourism enterprises
and focus on the impacts of new information technology developments.
It was based on about 500 interviews and questionnaires with
Hoteliers, Incoming Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Outgoing Travel
Agents, public sector executives and experts and used a wide range
of research techniques.
